<span-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">We have an issue in A-4 Anchorage.   This morning pilot boarded the vessel to shift to its loading berth. and while retrieving the anchored found the starboard anchor to be fouled with what appears to be a one inch in diameter wire cable.

<span-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">We have anchored hundreds of ships in the area with no event. Unfortunately now that we know it’s there and possible to capture,  anchoring other vessels should not occur until the cable is removed.

<span-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">We are working with the Port of Lake Charles and he ACOE to remove as soon as possible.

By Sunday, winds begin to increase and seas begin to build as the pressure gradient tightens due to an approaching disturbance from the south. Seas around 3-6 feet and gusts upwards of 20 kts can be expected Sunday-Tuesday. This disturbance will also bring widespread showers and thunderstorms to the coastal waters Sunday- Tuesday.
