<span-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">We have an issue in A-4 Anchorage.   This morning pilot boarded the vessel to shift to its loading berth. and while retrieving the anchored found the starboard anchor to be fouled with what appears to be a one inch in diameter wire cable.

<span-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">We have anchored hundreds of ships in the area with no event. Unfortunately now that we know it’s there and possible to capture,  anchoring other vessels should not occur until the cable is removed.

<span-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">We are working with the Port of Lake Charles and he ACOE to remove as soon as possible.

Offshore winds today will become variable this evening into tonight, as the front overhead dissipates. A secondary boundary will move through overnight into Thursday, allowing winds to shift back to the north and become a bit stronger. Winds around 10-15 kts with seas around 1-3 feet can be expected tomorrow into the weekend. This secondary front will bring rain chances to near zero for the second half of the week.
