Synopsis:<span-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"> Ridging helps keep precipitation chances low for Friday and Saturday, though a few isolated showers and thunderstorms cannot be ruled out. A light southwesterly to westerly flow will prevail as the weak meandering area of high pressure becomes the dominant influence over the northern Gulf of Mexico. Flow becomes a bit light and variable by Monday, with more typical precipitation chances returning. By Tuesday into Wednesday, light southerly flow also returns. As per usual, winds and seas will be higher in and around any thunderstorm activity.
