Offshore and Coastal Forecast:
Synopsis: Light to moderate onshore flow is expected through the week as high pressure at the surface ridges across the northern Gulf Coast. A few showers and thunderstorms will be possible each day. An easterly wave is expected to enter the southwestern Gulf of Mexico late this week. This wave has the potential to bring widespread showers and thunderstorms as well as increased winds and seas through the weekend.

Southeast winds around 10 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet. Slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.
